POC Receptor Bug Ski Helmet Award Winning Design & Safety

So what makes the Receptor Bug such a revelation? The simple answer is, it has a dual shell, it sounds simple when you say it doesn’t it?  The patented system with double overlapping shells protects from sharp objects while providing ventilation that can be closed off for colder days and the advanced outer shell in ABS makes a robust barrier while the in-mold polycarbonate/EPS inner helmet provides test-winning shock absorption. This helmet truly is something a bit special, and the best thing is the added shell doesn’t really add to the weight of the helmet in any way.

POC Receptor Bug Ski Helmet Style

Even within Urban Surfer’s awesome ski helmet range this POC helmet really stands out for the simplicity of the innovation, although I’m sure it was a very complex problem to get it right. It can’t be overstated just how safe and comfortable this helmet is. However, unlike other helmet ‘innovations’ this helmet isn’t ugly, granted, they have kept the design very simple and ‘classic looking’ but why not. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it! This helmet will not look out of place on the most style conscious rider and with POC branding on the side, everyone understands it’s quality.
