In Croyde, Devon on the 3rd & 4th of November the biggest and best surf clubs from around the country will converge on Croyde beach to contest for the 2012 Interclub Surfing Championship Title, won last year by the Woolacombe Board riders.
The event is traditionally held by CSC (Croyde Surfing Club) and offers free camping on Baggy Point, North Devon. This goes with a massive traditional party once the event has come to its conclusion!
Clubs from all over the Country can enter as many teams as they like in the Junior’s, Women’s and Men’s categories to give themselves the best shot of winning the title and gaining the bragging rights for the year!
Former European and British Champion and Director of Surfing GB Nigel Semmens had this to say “The event is a great opportunity for the UK’s surf community to get together and enjoy a brilliant weekend of rivalry and competition! The contest is traditionally unique and always has a fantastic atmosphere which is great to be a part of.”
The unique, traditional qualities of this event makes it a must see for any surf fan! With plenty of Music, partying and Beer to go around everyone is welcome to come on down and catch a glimpse of the cream of Britain’s surfing crop.
So put it in your diaries, the 3rd & 4th of November, the Interclub Championships are going down at Croyde!
