Alpinestars feature in Nitro Circus Movie

ALPINESTARS are getting down and dirty with one of the greatest names in action sports – Travis Pastrana and the Nitro Circus crew.

The crew has helped produce new advertisement for the Always Ride Free campaign – http://www.alpinestars.com/alwaysridefree/

That’s in addition to releasing a trailer for their forthcoming movie:

Alpinestars will be collaborating with Nitro Circus very soon ahead of the release of the 3D movie. The movie is released this summer in conjunction with the Nitro Circus Live European Tour. Both sides are still inking the contracts.

News of the Nitro Circus movie has been in circulation since June 23, 2010 when cast member Tommy Passemante announced on Twitter: “There will not be a season 3 of Nitro Circus. Bigger news to come.”

The news was confirmed on 23 June 2010 when cast member Special Gregg Powell replied to questions about a 3rd season of Nitro Circus.

He said:  “How about Nitro Circus 3D Movie instead? Well, It’s gonna happen so hang till summer 2011.”

Nitro Circus started out as an American television series featuring Travis Pastrana and friends.

Travelling around the world riding dirt bikes, base jumping and performing stunts. the crew’s antics originally aired in 2006 on Fuel TV.

In January 2009, Nitro began running as an episodic reality television show on MTV that featured people performing various dangerous stunts. The series officially debuted on February 8, 2009. Season 2 premiered on August 27, 2009.

The following year, cast member Jim DeChamp confirmed that MTV had cancelled the show.

Always Ride Free is Alpinestars’ mantra. Alpinestars see the philosophy as one to live by whether you are a recreational athlete or a world champion. It is a reminder that your sport, your passion, should always be your salvation. A reminder to put aside your cares and enjoy the freedom that you get from being on your bike, board or on the track.
